I Know You Think I'm Crazy...

Spencer's brother Brandon and his wife Holly are in Arkansas selling for the summer, but had to make an unexpected trip back to Utah last weekend. They were able to be here for a few days, so of course we took advantage of that! We all drove up American Fork Canyon to stop at campground to eat dinner and roast marshmallows for smores. We hung out there for a few hours and in the meantime, we each got to ride THIS......

I know it's a little blurry and I know some of you might think that I am crazy to jump back on one of these beauties... but it was fun. :) Spencer's parents have a rhino and let us each drive it up a short trail for a few minutes.

The whole time I kept telling Spence to slow down haha! And then he let me drive...

... and I was going just as fast, if not faster than he was. (Really, it wasn't very fast at all) I have a good sport for a husband, that's for sure. :)

Then it was time to head back to camp for some smores. Mmm... delicious. We sure had a blast! Thanks Mom and Dad Hill!

The End Is Finally Here

Ok... I think we are coming to the end of a LONG, LONG whirlwind of purchasing our first home! We just signed the closing documents and we will close before June 30th!!!!! Thank goodness. :) It's been a long, challenging journey... but it will be so worth it.

Oh Dear...

Well I'm reading the syllabus for one of my last classes at BYU and can I just tell you that I am tired of professors that treat you like you are irresponsible, immature and that this is your first college course ever.... without even meeting you!!!!! Not to mention that their course is the most important class that you will ever take in the span of your life. I don't want to sound rude but wow... sometimes I think that some (there are many that are wonderful) professors have a little too much going on in their head. I think it would be nice to be treated as a respectable human being sometimes. I'm just saying.

Wish me luck.

He Has Finally Become A Man

One of the chore's in the Hill household while Spencer was growing up was to till the garden. Somehow... in all those years of having chores... Spencer flew under the radar and his brothers always had to till the garden instead! Well, a few months ago, his brothers found out. And it was hilarious! It was quite the conversation. Now that we're living his parents basement for the summer, I guess Spencer has time to catch up on all the chores that he never had to do. ;)

So for all of you Hill boys... this post is for you. :) Here is proof that Spencer has FINALLY tilled the garden:

p.s. watch his faces in these pics... where did this boy come from?! haha he's hilarious. And I love it.

Crafting :)

I decided that I was going to reward myself for finishing spring semester and still being alive. So I decided that while Spencer is gone on a fishing trip this next week, I will be doing this:

I have been trying to think of something cute for a key holder and I finally found it. I'm not sure that I am sold on the saying though. I just see it everywhere... if you have any other ideas of what it could have down there, throw them my way!

I Wish I Could Sew

This is so cute and it just makes me wish that I was better at sewing so that it wouldn't take me as long to do a craft! I think this would be adorable in a little girls room. One day I will be talented enough and will have enough time to be able to do something like this. :)
If you ever need a good idea for a craft, I recommend you go to this link. It's amazing.

I think it's time for another........VACATION!

I need a quick vacation from the never ending homework of spring classes. So here I come:

Puerto Vallarta baby!

This just sounds SOO good to me right now. People keep talking about how it's summer and everything... but IT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE SUMMER! I think if I wasn't in school right now it just might. Don't get me wrong, I am so lucky to be able to be in school right now so that I can finish my education in time to move to Arizona, but I think this place is calling my name. :) This is where Spencer and I went on our honeymoon about a year ago and it was the best vacation I have ever been on.

Here are some things that we did... and that sound oh so good right now:

1) Never ending food that is delicious

The package came with breakfast in bed one morning and we could pick anything that we wanted! They spoiled us rotten.

Let's see here, bacon, fresh fruit, omelets, hashbrowns, yogurt, waffles, pastries, NUTELLA, a Mexican breakfast dish, and some delicious fruit juice that we could not get enough of. We ate everything on those plates. ;) Well we tried anyways.

2) Hilarious moments

Someone was mowing the lawn at the apartments next to the resort and they accidently hit the sprinkler... bad news. It was so funny though because the man was racing all over the place trying to think of what to do. I felt bad for him, but it was hard not to giggle a little bit.

I was just sitting on the beach one day and I could not believe what I saw! He is the man from the book, Caps For Sale!!! Well, he looked like he could be the real life version of him at least. It was so awesome.

3) Going on a date EVERYDAY with my Lover Boy :)

I'm not sure that I missed this very much, but it was so humid that when I walked outside with my glasses on or when we tried to take a picture right away, this is what would happen. Everytime.

4) Relaxing

I loved relaxing on the hammock at night with the ocean in the background. So amazing. Did I mention that I love tropical places?

(He's SO cute. :) I love him.)

5) Did I mention never ending food that is delicious??

Our food was that fancy every night! I think Spencer was also genuinely sad to leave our new friends, the waiters. They were so friendly and hilarious! Sweet boy... he makes friends so fast. I love that about him.

6) Adventures!

We went on a "Vallarta Adventure" while we were there which included:
1. Riding in a speed boat. Twice.
2. Taking a ride in a huge 4x4 to get to the forest. I guess it was a Mercedes Benz Unimog
3. Riding a mule.... seriously so awesome
2. Hiking in the beautiful tropical forests
3. Flying through a series of zip-lines!!!
4. Repelling down waterfalls
5. Splashing through natural streams and river pools

Is that amazing or what?! It was SO fun!

7) Having the time of our lives

One day, maybe we'll go back :)
