Sunday Night's at the Brems!

Melinda, Rebekah and I

Tonight Melinda and Jonathan were able to come over for dinner...they usually come over every other Sunday for dinner...and they brought over some strawberry pie for dessert that they had just made with fresh Oregon strawberries!!!! Talk about YUM! It was absolutely delicious! Melinda is always making new desserts because that's what she loves...and we love that she always is looking for someone to try them!! :) Everything she makes is so good so the fact that this pie was really yummy was definitely not a surprise! We love having them over whenever they can come and we're so lucky that they live so close! So tonight we ate dinner and then played Apples to Apples and topped it off with some pie. It was an awesome Sunday night with the fam! :)

They wouldn't let me take a normal picture of the boys...this was the best of two. :)

Had to take a pic of the delicious pie! It was seriously to die for!

Here's the cook herself....minus Jonathan of course. He did make the pie with her and did an excellent job! :)

I Hope They Call Me On a Mission!!!!

Me and Tyler saying goodbye! (And that's his nephew Roman trying to get some candy:)) They are all going to be such good missionaries!

Holy smokes! This past week has been the week for missionaries! Three of my really good friends had their farewell's last Sunday and two of them are off at the MTC already. And another just got his mission call to Paris, France! I'm so excited and proud of all of them and I can't wait to hear from them about their mission experience.

They Finally Came!

My gymnastics club from Oregon planned a meet in Utah so I was able to go visit them and watch them compete! It was so much fun to see them because I hadn't seen them for a couple months. It's very weird going from working out with them everyday after school for 3 years to not seeing them for months at a time! I missed them so it was a good little reunion. :) We were also able to go and see the University of Utah vs. Georgia gymnastics meet at the U while they were visiting. It was an awesome meet! They were the top two teams in the nation so it was neck and neck the whole competition and it finally ended with Utah on top by only one tenth! Talk about close! We had a lot of fun and I'm so happy the girls came to Utah so I could watch them compete!

Me and Tay on our way home from the University of Utah vs. Georgia meet. It was SO fun!

After the girls meet

Missing Provo

So lately I've had this thing we like to call "home sickness." I don't typically get home sick, but now it's not even from my real home in Oregon...it's from PROVO! Call me crazy but I actually really miss Provo! When I was at school, I never really got too homesick and if I was it only lasted for about an hour. But this has been going on for almost 2 weeks now and I can't believe it! I never thought this would ever happen...but I guess these things are a little unexpected. Don't get me wrong...I absolutely LOVE being home in Oregon again and being with the family! And I definitely am going to soak it all up while I'm here because I know I will miss it when I go back to school.

So I decided to reminisce about Provo and post some pictures from when I was there. So here they are!

Almost all of my roomies...Christine seemed to always manage to find her way out of the pictures :(

Temple Square with my neighbors!!

On our way to our favorite class......Student Development!!!! ;)
You can tell their true emotions from their faces.

Roomies again!

Pablo's birthday party! Some of his friends were going to make a pillow case for him out of this really fancy baseball sheet (it was a baseball themed party and was really fun because they made a baseball cake and everything) but instead it turned into a cape. :)

I Need Help!

Ok everyone, I'm still not very savvy with this whole blogging thing. So I can't figure out how to make my titles bigger! For some reason it won't let me change the font or the size of the title, but it will let me do that for my paragraphs. I'm sure you all could help me with this since you're much better at blogging than me. So if you know, than please tell me! I've been trying to figure this out since the very beginning and just haven't been able to so I decided to finally ask all of you. :) Please help me out if you can! Thanks!

Conference Time!!!

Alright I'm finally back into the blogging mood which is very good timing since I now have all of my pictures back from my jumpdrive that came in the mail yesterday. So this morning is dedicated to blogging. :) I just had to do a little shout out for General Conference this last April because it was absolutely amazing! I LOVE general conference and since I was up at school for the fall and winter, I was able to get tickets to go to a session at both the October and April conferences. My brother Paul sang in the BYU choir for the Saturday afternoon session and he was able to get one ticket to give to someone. So, being the loving brother that he is, he gave the ticket to me so I could go and watch him sing!!!! :) It was the coolest thing! I've been to a lot of choir concerts at the Y, but nothing compared to this! There was such an amazing spirit there.

I found out that you weren't supposed to take pictures at the most recent conference, so this picture is from when I went in October when I wasn't quite aware of that rule :) My seats were with the missionary section which is on the left side underneath the big TV. I was about 15 rows back. It was so awesome! There were seats in the front row that I could've sat in because it was just me and not a group of people, but I decided that I wanted to see Paul too and not just the speakers. So anywho...it was so cool and Paul definitely deserves a congrats even though it is a little belated!
So good job Paul!!
